Kamehameha Kokoiki Tee
Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the Great, unified the Hawaiian Islands and formally established the Kingdom of Hawai'i in 1810. He was born on the Kohala coast of Hawai'i Island. Hawaiian tradition tells that a bright star, Kokoiki, appeared just before the great conqueror was born. The date of the legend coincides with the appearance of Halley’s Comet in 1758. When Kokoiki was viewed by the kahuna, it was prophesied that a great leader was about to be born who would defeat all his rivals and reign supreme over all the islands. The infant prince was ordered to be put to death by King Alapai but was reared secretly and trained in the chiefly arts. He grew to manhood, taking the name Kamehameha, meaning “The Lonely One” Our tees feature our original Kamehameha design printed on the front and our Na Makua logo on the back. They are 100% pre-shrunk jersey combed cotton knit and are available in size Small thru 4XL. # KITBS thru XL - $30.00 | 2X & 3X - $33.00 | 4X & 5X - $35.00 | 6X - $36.00 |
